My first solo show

I'm pretty excited, I have my first ever solo show coming up this week! I'll be pretty busy putting together all the work I want in the show but I will be able to sell stuff so hopefully I can make some money! I threw together a poster so I can try to promote it.

Woodcut Bootcamp

This June I traveled to St. Louis to take part in Tom Huck's Evil Prints Woodcut Bootcamp. During the week that I was there I carved and printed a large-scale woodcut. It was an amazing experience and I'm thinking about doing it again next year. Here are some pictures of the process and the finished print.

Dog Days

Here's a sweet little watercolor I just finished. I've been inspired by the songs of the cicadas that I've started to hear recently. Painted this is Aquaboard..not quite the same as drawing on paper, but this surface is solid so I can erase a million times with no problems, and it take the pigments really well.

For Your Eyes Only

This is a design I'm working on for a potential t-shirt. A friend and I are going to start designing and printing things and our collective name is For Your Eyes Only (inspired by an inside joke and suggested by another artist friend). Can't wait to finish this.
